Although not a standalone department for any specific branch, it plays a crucial role in delivering common courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and basic diploma engineering subjects that are essential for building a strong academic base. The department ensures that students from all streams receive uniform exposure to fundamental scientific concepts, helping them transition smoothly into their specialized areas in subsequent years.
