Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Institute of Technology, Rayagada was established in 1979 with a mission to bridge the gap between technical education and industries. It is a premier Govt. Co-education polytechnic in southern Odisha and offers Diploma programmes in the area of Civil Engg., Electrical Engg., E&TC Engg. and Mechanical Engg.

The disciplines are fully equipped with laboratories, facilities for innovative projects and its experienced dynamic faculty members. The Institute has collaborations with many reputed industries through Central Placement Cell. This Institute provides excellent educational experience, emphasis on technical practical knowledge, communication, teamwork, soft skill training, industry visit, and conducting seminars by inviting industry experts/leaders to enable our students with exposure in the latest trend of industry and maintain leadership quality at the workplace. We are well equipped with the essential infrastructure to organize campus placement activities in online platform also.
